Father Siegfred Dosdos read the Decree of Establishment of St. Joseph Cathedralas a Diocesan Shrine during Pontifical Fiesta Mass.The declaration of the Saint Joseph Cathedral was approved by His Excellency Juan de Dios Mataflorida Pueblos, Catholic Bishop of Butuan and Parish Priest of the Cathedral.Aside from the fact that the church in Butuan was the first church established in the Mindanao region, to many of the Roman Catholic devotees of Butuan City this is another achievement which they will pass to the next generation.
